How to Access De Gruyter eBook
In-Campus
With the help of IP access, one can access them using the eBook database link without any separate credentials.
Off-campus 
Use the LINK to log in to our remote access gateway with JGU provided email account and go the list of eBooks resources, you may select De Gruyter eBook database and you can access the same without any separate credentials.
Find the books in the database
Go to the database link and either choose the subject or search the book title in the search bar. For more precise results, Refine your search by selecting the option License content only or go for All Available content, which will show you all the book titles you can access.

De Gruyter, an academic publisher of more than 15,000 ebooks promotes research and scholarship. Named after Walter de Gruyter (1862-1923) Global Library has subscribed to about 16 multidisciplinary subject collections of books, journals and research papers for all JGU members. One can take advantage of their carefully selected licenced books as well as the Openly available Open Access collection provided by the De Gruyter database. All are sectioned for every subject field required by students in their course. requirement.

Use the Library Catalog to browse titles

To locate a specific book, enter its title in the search bar and select the corresponding result. Look for the option labelled "Online Access" and click on it. This link will then direct you to the database for the complete full book.

How to Identity which books does library have access to?
All the available contents will be either "Licensed", "Open Access" or "Publicly Available". You can download them from the option of "Download PDF" which gives you access to the full book.

A Licensed book with an Open Key shows that the book has been procured selectively chosen by JGU faculty. You can click on Download book either in PDF or EPUB format.

Rather than downloading the full book, you can also download the specific chapter that is required in PDF
