GeoCreDe (Geo Credit & Deposit Analytics) is a platform that visualizes India's banking and financial data on an interactive map. It is designed for researchers, banking professionals, and policymakers who need to study how credit, deposits, and investments are distributed across India's districts and towns. It provides data down to the district level (covering over 730 districts) and banking centers/towns (approximately 7,000 centers). The platform exclusively sources its data from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). (Source)
GeoCreDe includes five main analytical modules: District Module (Core Module), Centre Module, Credit by Occupation, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), and Vehicle Registration. Each module is designed to analyse data at different geographic or sectoral levels, ranging from district-wide banking trends to occupation-wise credit patterns and vehicle registration activity.
The platform provides interactive map-based analysis with customizable filters and visual insights. Key features include Market Size & Shares analysis, Growth Rate & Market Share comparison, Time Series tracking, Digest reports with ranked lists, and a full-screen Explore mode for quick visual analysis. Additional capabilities include cascading geographic filters, occupation-wise credit analysis using RBI classifications, district-level FDI mapping, vehicle registration trend analysis, and support for POP, YOY, and CAGR growth metrics.
