About IBC Laws
​The IBC Laws Portal is a valuable resource for anyone interested in learning about Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) in India. While it doesn't function as a traditional library with physical books, it offers a wealth of information through its online platform.

The IBC Case Law platform has three modules:
(i) Insolvency cum Companies Act, 2013 
(ii) Arbitration Module (Dispute Resolution Module)
(iii) Debt Recovery Module (SARFAESI and Recovery of Debts & Bankruptcy Act, 1993).
Insolvency cum Companies Act, 2013 Module
  • The Module covers over 10,500 case laws.
  • Features a user-friendly interface with chapter-wise search and filtering options.
  • Includes judgment summaries and detailed analyses.
  • Addresses 80 main subjects and 359 sub-subjects on insolvency.
  • Contains categories for Personal Guarantors and specific aspects of the Companies Act.
  • Allows filtering judgments by section numbers, stage of insolvency proceedings, and court decisions.
  • Provides specialized search tools for corporate debtor cases and specific insolvency types.
The Arbitration/Dispute Resolution Module
  • Includes summaries of judgments issued after February 2023.
  • Main subjects are detailed into sub-subjects like Multiple Arbitral Tribunals, Legal Principles, and Grounds for Setting Aside Awards.
  • Features advanced filtering options by section, sub-section, clause, and other criteria.
  • Includes specialized filters for contexts such as NHAI and Co-operative Societies.
  • Allows access to key judgments by bench or court within relevant subjects.
The Debt Recovery Module
  • Includes decisions from the Supreme Court, High Courts, and DRAT (since December 2019)
  • Expert summaries of each judgment
  • Filter judgments by specific High Courts or DRAT benches
  • Categorized into 165+ subjects and sub-subjects
  • SARFAESI stage-wise categorization for detailed navigation
  • Locate judgments relevant to specific legal provisions and clauses
