About New Left Review
New Left Review (NLR) is a bimonthly journal that offers in-depth analysis of world politics, the global economy, and social and cultural movements. It covers a wide intellectual range, with core focus areas including political economy, social theory and philosophy, and cultural studies. The journal examines state power, economic trends, and protest movements, while also engaging with contemporary debates in history and theory.

In addition, it publishes critical essays on cinema, literature, and alternative forms of art. Over time, the journal has evolved significantly, a development reflected in its historical records. Although primarily a print publication, its complete archive of articles since 1960 is available online. (Source)
Sidecar
Sidecar is the online blog and digital companion to the New Left Review (NLR). While the main journal focuses on long-form theoretical essays and in-depth political analysis, Sidecar provides a space for shorter, more frequent interventions on contemporary politics, culture, and ideas.
