J-Gate AI is an AI-powered research intelligence platform. It provides indexing and search capabilities across global scholarly literature, including journal articles, pre-prints, and primary sources. Combining natural language processing (NLP) with relevance scoring, J-Gate AI can help researchers in performing semantic searches, generating multi-paper literature reviews, conducting conversational Q&A over research topics, and analyzing full-text PDFs.
DeepChat is an interactive conversational module designed for multi-turn research inquiries, maintaining full context from the initial query throughout follow-up questions. It returns detailed AI analyses supported by cited research papers, along with auto-suggested follow-up prompts to guide deep dives into complex topics. All DeepChat sessions are automatically saved in the chat history, allowing researchers to re-execute searches, like/dislike outputs for quality feedback, copy responses, or download complete conversation threads as PDFs. The knowledge corpus includes 100 million+ articles.
Chat with PDF allows researchers to deeply analyze individual documents, whether accessed through J-Gate search modules or directly uploaded from a local device. The interface automatically generates a document summary, core findings, research gaps, and future research areas, alongside auto-suggested and custom query fields for targeted exploration. When navigating reference links within the chat responses, the system features contextual text highlighting that directly pinpoints source passages inside the PDF viewer.
InsightHub serves as the primary search engine for J-Gate AI, allowing researchers to input natural language queries to retrieve ranked, AI-scored articles from the validated J-Gate corpus. Search results feature an AI-generated Short Insights Panel at the top summarizing key findings from up to 10 top relevant papers, alongside customized article-level metrics, methodology, gaps, and main findings. Users can sort and filter papers by access type, publication date, country, or document type, and utilize features like Chat with Results to generate synthesized literature reviews from selected articles or export citations in formats such as APA and MLA.
Deep Research is an automated literature review generator built for researchers who require evidence-based reports on complex topics. Upon entering a topic, the module initiates interactive clarifying questions to refine the research intent, scope, and specific parameters before conducting an in-depth academic literature search. The final generated report delivers a comprehensive synthesis, inline citation links to candidate papers, and export options to download complete reports in both PDF and Word (.docx) formats.
