Profile: Abid Fakhre Alam

I am an experienced library professional with a strong academic background. I hold a Post Graduation Diploma in Digital Library and Information Management (PGDLIM) from Central University of Gujarat and a Post Graduation in Library and Information Science from Aligarh Muslim University With expertise in library Technology such as automation and management software (Koha, LIBSYS, SOUL, OPS, and OJS), managing digital library systems (DSpace, EPrints, and ResourceSpace), reference management tools, Library archive (Atom) and programming languages like HTML and CSS. I worked as an Assistant Librarian at the renowned institution (Azim Premji University) from 2019 to 2022 and have extensive experience in library traineeships (Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology) from 2017 to 2019 and a 2-month Internship (Maulana Azad Library, Aligarh Muslim University) in 2017. I actively contributed to research and published papers on scholarly social networking and cloud computing infrastructure for academic libraries. My dedication, ability to manage change and strong teamwork skills make me a valuable asset in any library setting. I am passionate about sports, painting, reading, and utilizing technology to enhance library services.
